Everyone's starting point is different. Some face specific struggles that won't seem to change. Others feel stuck or uncertain about what's next. Each path is grounded in the same commitment — honesty, presence, and meaningful change.
You may feel stuck in anxiety, repeating patterns you don't fully understand, or relational tension that won't resolve. Rather than starting with behavior, we explore your story, your relationships, and how you've learned to cope or protect yourself over time. Scripture isn't a quick answer — it's a way of seeing more clearly and responding differently in the real places of your life. Over time, this leads to deeper awareness, greater honesty, and lasting change rooted in truth and grace.
At its core, biblical counseling rests on a simple conviction: Scripture is sufficient not as a formula to apply, but as a trustworthy voice for understanding who you are and what's happening in your life. This isn't a program you move through — it's personal discipleship, one person's story at a time, walked alongside rather than diagnosed from a distance.
This coaching focuses on how you experience God in the middle of your real, everyday life. We pay attention to what's happening beneath the surface — your patterns, your emotions, the ways you've learned to cope or protect yourself in relationships — not as problems to fix, but as meaningful parts of your story. This work is relational, unhurried, and deeply personal, creating space for change that flows from being known and loved, not from striving or performance.
The premise behind this work comes from Dr. Todd Hall's research on relational spirituality: how we experience God is shaped by how we've experienced love. The relationships that formed us — especially our earliest caregivers — don't just shape how we connect with other people. They shape our felt sense of God, whether we experience Him as safe, distant, demanding, or good. This work helps you notice those patterns and grow toward a more secure, honest connection with both God and others.
Spiritual direction is a slower, more reflective space where we begin to notice where God may already be at work. Together, we listen for His presence in your story, your circumstances, and your desires, learning to recognize how He is inviting you to respond. This is not about problem-solving — it's about learning to be with God, becoming more attentive, receptive, and aware of His voice and movement in your life.
The premise here is simple but often overlooked: God is already present and active in your life, long before we sit down together. The work isn't manufacturing an experience of Him — it's slowing down enough to notice what's already true, and learning to respond to it with greater attentiveness and trust.
You don't need to have that figured out. We can begin with a simple conversation and discern the right path together.
